Our Vision Statement … Being disciples of Jesus and making disciples of Jesus
As disciples of Jesus we seek to worship God passionately, to love as He loves, and to serve wholeheartedly. We want to see each other developing in our relationship with God and growing in our God-given gifts. We want to be the people of God in our community, being lights and showing God’s love to whomever we connect with, and ultimately see them come into the family of God.What we Believe:-
At the age of 17 God miraculously broke into my life, 27 years later I look back with genuine thankfulness that He graciously called me out of Domain of Darkness into the Kingdom of His Beloved Son. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful family (we're not perfect but there's lots of love) so I have been married to Jeannette for 25 years and we have two sons: John and Peter. I am thankful that we all love the Lord and each other! I have been in pastoral ministry for 17 years now and count it a privilege to serve Christ in this way. My desire is to see the church equipped by God's word and empowered by His Spirit so that they can live holy lives and be fruitful in their witness, all for God's glory. I believe God has called me and enabled me to first and foremost to preach His word.

I have been in the office at Richmond Baptist since 1989. My role is to assist the Pastoral Staff in any way that I can. I also provide administrative support to a number of church ministries. The church office is often the first point of contact so we aim to make this contact as Warm and friendly as possible. It’s a privilege to be able to offer support to and serve a great team of leaders.

Children are a blessing from God and God loves them heaps, He also wants a relationship with them. They are precious in His sight, and bring delight to Him and that is what I want every child to know from the age of 0 to 12 years. Also, that God can use a child no matter what age, to have an impact for Him, wherever they are. I am married to Owen and we have 4 daughters, and what a lot of fun we have, and yes Owen does feel outnumbered - sometimes!!!
