Our Pastoral Care team is involved in caring for the church family spiritually and practically. This is carried out by teams of committed church members under the guidance of the Pastoral Care Pastor. The Pastoral Care teams are also involved in taking services at local retirement villages, supporting school chaplains, writing letters to prisoners, and other support as required.
Connecting with other Christians who can walk alongside us is incredibly important and is a reflection of our care for each other. Each week, small groups are hosted in homes located in various parts of our region. They are all very different but each has that common thread of people wanting to grow in the understanding of their faith and of having fellowship and fun together. They are great places in which people can build strong friendships, grow and be encouraged to be all that God wants them to be.
Is there to help people from our church and local community with food parcels when the need arises. Sometimes the incomings don’t match the outgoings and a helping hand is needed in the pantry. God‘s Pantry also helps out in times of crisis.
Craft Group meets every second Tuesday morning during term time, from 10.00-11.45am. This is a group where ladies of all ages get together to share their interest in a variety of crafts. The team of leaders has experience in a wide variety of craft work and is on hand to offer advice and assistance as required.
